Text only — there’s no voice acting. 1.0 added “mod localization support”, and the Workshop already has fan translations into Traditional Chinese and Korean. Simplified Chinese players are a big share of the audience: the store showed more Simplified Chinese reviews than English ones on Nov 1. Patches since launch have fixed several Russian and Spanish text bugs (updates).

It’s a 2D pixel-art game, so almost any PC from the last decade runs it. If you see stutter or tearing on a high-refresh monitor, update to 1.0.0.5 or later — it switched the frame cap to VSync.
FAQ
Is Probably Stolen on PS5 or Xbox?
Not as of Nov 1, 2026. The game is on Steam for Windows and the developers haven't announced a console version.
Is Probably Stolen on Nintendo Switch?
No Switch or Switch 2 version has been announced.
Can I play Probably Stolen on Mac?
Not natively — Steam lists Windows only. Mac players run it through CrossOver (paid) or PixelPort (free), following an unofficial Steam guide; Whisky no longer works. The developers haven't answered Mac port requests.
Is Probably Stolen on Android or iPhone?
No. There is no mobile version; anything on an app store using the name isn't this game.
Does Probably Stolen have Traditional Chinese or Korean?
No. The supported languages are English, Simplified Chinese, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Polish and Japanese. Traditional Chinese (繁體中文) and Korean (한글) aren't on the list. Fan translations are on the Steam Workshop: '繁體中文 – Traditional Chinese Translation' and several Korean patches ('한국어 – Korean Translation', '한글패치'). They're unofficial and may break after patches like 1.0.0.6.
Does Probably Stolen work on Steam Deck?
Valve rates it Playable (not Verified). There's no controller support, so players switch the Deck to a WASD + mouse layout and use the trackpads or touchscreen. The developer said they don't own a Deck yet and will look at support once the launch rush calms down.
Does Probably Stolen have controller support or multiplayer?
Neither. Steam lists it as single-player with no controller support; it's built for mouse (there's even a mouse-only option).
How much is Probably Stolen?
$19.99 in the US, €19.99 in the EU, £16.99 in the UK, with 10% off at launch. A Supporter Edition adds the official soundtrack, and owners of ReStory, Potion Craft, Backpack Battles, TCG Card Shop Simulator or Graveyard Keeper 2 get an extra bundle discount.
